Tluxe is a luxury label with distinctive Australian sensibility,Tluxe combines the no fuss minimilism of early '90's back to basics dressing with the relaxed glamour of the late 70's Halston style to create a truly unique brand of understatement.

Summer 2010 collection, fuses premium fabrics and clever cuts to create effortless style.This is basics dressing served with clever twists in neutral palette of black, white, grey marle and for summer adding a bit of sparkle with the introduction of sequin. Pieces in the collection are named after inspirational women, mirroring the label's strong and confident attitude.

Tluxe prides itself on it's locally sourced fabrics and close working relationship with Australian makers, using only the highest quality materials and where possible, organic and sustainable yarns including bamboo,cotton, cashmere and Merino Wool. The result is elegant and fluid designs that look great and feel superb against your skin, making it a favourite with Aussie models Miranda Kerr and Jenifer Hawkins.

New this winter/spring is the introduction of Cashmere and Supima cotton blends, the launch of the Tluxe engineered stripe, which along with all the labels colours and fabrics is developed uniquely for the brand, and the debut of a super fine jersey knit snood that does double time as a scarf, a top or even a wrap around skirt.In keeping with the brand's philosophy of independent style, the limit to how you wear it is your imagination.

"Autum/Winter in Australia is all about light layering", says creative director and the labels founder, Rebecca Powell. "One of my favourite looks right now is a snug- fit top with extra long arms worn under a loose boyfreind or Poncho Tee in super fine Merino jersey. Team it with our extra long long leggings.The key to great layering is to play on contrasting volume.

Now in it's seventh season, Tluxe was conceived from humble beginnings on  a kitchen table in Sydney's Tamarama. Rebecca grew up in London and began her career designing for Top Shop, Selfridges and Stirling Cooper. After being approached by Mambo to create their export collection, she moved to Australia and following ten years of working with Australian companies including Bonds, recognised a gap in the local Market for Australian designed and made luxury basics.
